Why Event Planning?
I'm a communicator at heart. I love connecting with people, uncovering what matters most to them, and turning those stories into celebrations that spark joy.
For more than a decade, I've helped clients create events that feel effortless. I thoughtfully plan every detail—from first conversation to the last song—to create moments remembered long after the lights come up. The best celebrations don't just make memories; they become stories.
Ironically, I found event planning through writing. I started my career in marketing and content creation, but writing can be a solitary pursuit, and I missed working with people. So I worked with Feast Creative Catering (even though anyone who knows me knows I can't cook) and I discovered I had a knack for planning and telling stories through events.
Planning an event isn't so different from writing. Every celebration needs a compelling vision, pacing, details, and a finale that leaves everyone wanting more. The lighting, ceremonies, music, menu, florals, linens, and décor all together to tell your story.
My favorite moments? Watching a BMitzvah child beam with pride, a couple steal a quiet glance, or guests lose themselves on the dance floor. That's when I know we've created something special.
My style is collaborative, clear, and calm. I'll listen carefully, understand your vision, and help shape it into something beautiful. If an idea isn't practical (or costs more than college tuition) I'll tell you, then offer an alternative just as impactful. While I'm orchestrating timelines, vendors, logistics, and making sure your aunt gets to the buffet on time, you get to do what you should: be a fully present guest at your celebration.
Whether it's an intimate dinner under the stars, a milestone birthday, wedding, BMitzvah, or a once-in-a-lifetime celebration, I'll guide you with creativity, care, and a sense of joy. Together, we'll create an event that's unmistakably yours and tells your story.
A Little About Me
I'm endlessly curious - about people, places, and things in between. I love traveling, getting happily lost in a great book, discovering new music, wandering, sharing with friends, and doing my best to make a positive impact however I can. I think soccer is truly the beautiful game and can say that my mother taught me everything I know about NFL football, another of my passions.
And, I love throwing an epic party like nobody's business.
I came to New England, better yet, Boston, by way of Texas - Denton and Austin to be exact - and New York City. I believe now that between the blistering heat of a Texas summer, the scalding pavement of NYC, and the icy tundra of Boston, I'll take the winter.
I am the proud mom of two amazing grown children, Nicholas and Lily, who have successfully launched into the world.
